HI BABIES! I'M BACK!!!!! AND SO HAPPY! You already know so I'm not going to say it. I have got emails, tweets, Google Talk, etc. about how you all felt about your sub. I want to know what is your idea of a good sub. What makes a good sub? What are your likes and dislikes? Not saying it will happen like that but I do value your thoughts on things. Thoughtful Thursday

Hello Buttons! It's Thursday.
You ever had anyone to do something for you and you just thought it was very nice of them to think about you? Maybe you have done something for someone to have been a day brightener for them. So today do something thoughtful for someone. Hold the door, put something in the trash, say a kind word or just give them a smile. Never know, someone may make your day. (You always make my day)

Have a great one babies. To my football players, you have a wonderful game tonight. This is it! Last game. I thank you for your service here at NWHS as a player. I know I haven't always been there but yesterday, today and forever more, I will ALWAYS be proud of you. Love you all! ~Ms. A

Wacky Wednesday

Almost there! It is the middle of the week. Only a few more days until the weekend.  This was something to make you laugh. I think I will just stick with my Cookie Monster Backpack. Love Ya!
Tickle me, governor.

Washington Gov. Chris Gregoire says she'll greet trick-or-treaters at the governor's mansion this year as the popular Sesame Street character Elmo.
Her office said Wednesday that Gregoire's husband, Mike, will continue the Sesame Street theme by dressing up as Super Grover. Other people will be the Cookie Monster, Big Bird, Oscar the Grouch, Count Von Count, and Bert and Ernie.
The governor will also give out five chocolate bars that will contain "golden" tickets for a Dec. 2 holiday reception at the Executive Mansion.
In previous years, Gregoire and others have dressed up as characters from "Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory," "Charlotte's Web," "Happy Feet," "Dora the Explorer," "Toy Story" and "The Adams Family."
Campaign surplus money will pay for the festivity.

Why won't people let it alone?

As we all know, one child's life has been ruining by something that wasn't to meant to be harmful. Everyone know about Amber Cole. Its sad that her world has been turned upside down by something that was a very bright idea. I found something on what has happened to her and wanted your opinion. (check wiki for story under assignments. http://adallen.pbworks.com) We all have done something that we regret but in the words of Tupac, "Only God can judge me." From the greatest book ever written, "Judge not lest ye be judged."

I wish you all a great weekend. Be safe and be good. Play hard Vikings! I feel a win still in ya. Love you!

College Day

All of my babies are gone and its just me. I hope you enjoyed your trip and got a lot of useful information. Hugs & Kisses!

Be Yourself

I know that everyone sometime see and find something that the like and wants to copy it. Sometimes it can be a good thing and sometimes it can be bad. I look at you all everyday and so many of you have your own uniqueness but wants to be like the people you see on TV. Pants sagging, clothes to big or too tight. Dressing like you just step out of the movie "Player's Club" etc. You are beautiful just the way you are. You were made perfect in HIS image. Its okay to like a look of someone else and copy them just a little but be who you were born to be. YOU! No one can be you but you. Have your own style and own swagger about yourself. My style is what makes me April Danyell Allen. I look like my mommy and my son looks like me, but I am ME. Nothing more and nothing less. No artificial additives. 100% me!"In a world where you can be anything, be yourself!" Love Ya!

To Hunty and KeKe, Sorry I'm late. Charge it to my head and not my heart.

Need a Day

Hello Angels! Have you ever just felt like you need a day? A day from everyone and everything. We, in educations call it a Mental Health Day! Sometimes we have so much going on that we just get stressed out and don’t know it until our body shuts down. I decided to define stress.
Definition: Stress is the body's reaction to a change that requires a physical, mental or emotional adjustment or response.
Stress can come from any situation or thought that makes you feel frustrated, angry, nervous, or anxious.
Stress is caused by an existing stress-causing factor or "stressor."
Dealing with a serious illness or caring for someone who is can cause a great deal of stress.

Stress comes in all shape, forms, and fashions. It happens to the young and to the old. Stress doesn’t have an age limit. We must learn to take time out for ourselves and take care of ourselves. No one is going to love you better than you can. So I’m giving you a heads up now. One day Ms. A will not be here. I won’t respond to text messages, emails, or phone calls. Don’t mean I don’t care or love you. I’m not ignoring you either. Just need a day for me. Love you very much!

~For Ta’Kiea: My quote for today: “When you are at the end of your rope, reach for the hem of HIS garment.”

Money Money Money!

You ever thought about why do some of these actors, artist and athletes makes so much money? If you look at it, they make millions just to entertain us. People who put their lives on the line everyday or made them who they are, are forget about and pay isn't all that. Firefighters rescue people from a burn situation and most of them are volunteers. A teacher is the one who gives you your start but the are the lowest paid people in the country. I just don't understand it. To me, it doesn't make sense. I feel like the pay should be reversed. Not because I'm in education but because of what I have seen in life. Look at it like this, how much since does it make to get paid millions and don't do nothing but sit on the bench? This is just my opinion. Have a great one! Love Ya!

Pants on the Ground?

"Are you an old fogy like me. Are you kind of old fashioned like I am. If you are, I have good news for you, the city of Albany, Georgia has a law to prevent the wearing of baggy saggy pants. Everybody has noticed at one time or another that particularly teens are wearing their trousers just a little below theirwaste. Normally you get a glimpse of their striped boxers if they have underwear on at all. Albany plans to stop this silliness by the law that was enacted about a year ago. On November 23, of last year a law was enacted in Albany to prevent people from wearing baggy saggy pants. I'm not sure if their law violates our right of free speech or not; but I'm sure some folks may want to argue the point; particularly teenaged boys, who seem to be the biggest offenders.
Since the law was enacted the town has collected almost $4,000 in fines and issued close to 200 citations. On the first offence of letting your underwear be seen, you get a slap on the wrist with a $25 fine. The fine can be as much as $200. The ordinance reads that you can not have the top of your pants or top of your skirt lower than three inches below the top of your waste.
I think that it is absolutely ridiculous that laws have to be enacted to regulate how clothes are to be worn. My mom and dad taught me how to pull my pants up when I was about three. They even gave me suspenders to keep them up. Where are the parents of these rebellious teens. Fines shouldn't be enacted to solve thisproblem, an old fashioned trip to the woodshed would help. Parents will end up paying the fines with the children getting no punishment at all. Thank God this city in Georgia sees the problem. Most towns either don't see theproblem or don't care about it. Personally I've seen more teen underwear then I ever cared to see." From an article in Georgia

Random Thoughts

Hello Love! I hope you had a great weekend. I had a wonderful weekend, just tired.
Have you ever gave someone your all & they take it an use it & destroy your heart? You felt like you would never recover from it. Well I'm here to tell you that you will. One person's trash is another's treasure. In the words of Beyonce, "The Best I Never Had" Smile and love yourself, cause the rest don't even matter. "....it sucks to be you right now."
Congrats to the Football team. You played an excellent game. Sometimes its not all about winning, but its how you play the game.I am very proud of you.
 Congrats to our Homecoming Court!
