Be Thankful for the Little Things

Hello Beloved! Happy Friday! We got 3 more days to make it through and we are free for the holidays. Speaking of holidays, we got to be thankful for the lil things. Christmas is not all about gifts. We were given the best gift 2,000 years ago. We get so cared away in Christmas shopping we forget the little things. We forget that its a gift to be alive. We forget that its a gift to have food on our table, roof over our head, and clothes to wear. We forget that its a gift to have your the activity of your limbs. We forget its a gift to have breath in our bodies and to wake up to have everyone you love or care for is still alive from the night before. We have to remember that material things can come and go. You don't have to have anything for Christmas. Christmas is everyday that you wake up and continue your life the same way you did the day before. So if you don't get what you want or anything from who you want, remember that you have Christmas everyday that you are alive! Be thankful for the lil things because they make life so much better.

I've Come To Far To Turn Around

Hello Babies! I hope you have had a wonderful weekend. Have you ever felt like giving up? Just throw in the towel, throw your hands up and say the heck with this? I know you have because I have had plenty of days like that. Then there is that one person (or persons) or something that makes you say "I can give up now. I come to far from where I started from." As the first semester winds down and it will be Christmas break in 7.5 days (including today), you can't give up. You got to work a little bit hard and stay focus. You are Almost There! So continue to work hard and keep your head up. Don't stress it will be alright in a few. Love you much and want to leave you with this:

Staying in your Lane

You ever been driving down the road and seen someone cross over in the other lane? Or driving on the Interstate and people are swaying back and forth from lane to lane. That type of stuff is very annoying. It causes accidents and some times death. In life we have lanes as well. People do not stay in their lanes either. Everyone is in people's business and don't know what's going on. He said, she said, and some times its a no one said. Lies are spread and fights are started. Haters love drama because Misery loves company. Everyone have things in their life that they not happy with. Some people's life is so distraught that they like to keep other people's name in their mouth and full of lies so know one can say anything about them. Then you have those people who will always talk about how things could've, should've, would've but don't do nothing at all. They are the drivers that  cross over in front of you and slow down. Every time you do something good or try to be a positive ray of light to someone, they come with all the lies and rumors that are not true. The are your Jealous drivers. They always got something to say but never willing to help. Some times its best to just shut up and keep your thoughts to yourself. Its a song that says, "Sweep around your own backdoor before you try to sweep around mines." So please try to stay in your own lane. If you going to hindered  others, pull over and just let them go on. I have learned that if you spend 50% of the time minding your OWN business and the other 50% staying out of others business; you don't have time to do anything else. 

How can you help?

I was reading through some things and saw something that disturbed me. As we all know that the Christmas is fast approaching, 19 days away, and I saw that an organization that usually play Secret Santa for a group of children would not be doing it this year, due to the fact that people didn't want to participate and the organization didn't have the funds. I didn't know how to take this. I wanted to know first, why people tripping? Then I wanted to know what is that I can do to help? I know that there is more children than I can help. I know I can't fix it but I know that I want to do something. It may not be much but something. If you had the opportunity to help, what would you do? Would you buy a toy and give it to the children or would you ignore the situation and say,"that's not my problem"? Just a curious question. Have a great day!

• Herman Cain Republician 2012 presidential candidate has been accused of sexual harrassment by several women ^[1][2] including Sharon Bialek, Karen Kraushaar, and Ginger White. ^[3][4] Donna Donella who worked with Cain has also reported possible inappropriate behavior. ^[5] Cain has denied any wrong doing.
• David Wu (D-OR) announced he will resign from the House of Representatives after being accused of making unwanted sexual advances toward a fundraiser's daughter became public. July 26, 2011^[6]
• Anthony Weiner (D-NY) The newly married Congressman admitted to sending sexually suggestive photos of himself to several women through his Twitter account.^[7] He resigned on June 16.^[8](2011)
• Chris Lee, Representative (R-NY) Resigned hours after a news report that the married Congressman had sent a shirtless picture of himself flexing his muscles to a woman via Craigslist, along with flirtatious emails.^[9] He did not use a pseudonym or a false email address, but relied on his congressional email for all communication. (2011)
• Mark Souder, (R-IN) a staunch advocate of abstinence and family values,^[10][11] resigned to avoid an ethics investigation into his admitted extramarital affair with a female staffer. Famously, he and she had made a public video in which they both extolled the virtues of sexual abstinence. (2010)^[12][13][14]
• Eric Massa (D-NY): Resigned to avoid an ethics investigation into his admitted groping and tickling of multiple male staffers. He later stated on Fox News that, "not only did I grope [a staffer], I tickled him until he couldn't breathe," (2010)^[15][16]
• Republican National Committee fired administrator Allison Meyers for her role in allowing $52,000 to be spent for a fund raiser at Club Voyeur which included bondage and topless dancers, (2011)^[17]
• Tom Ganley (R-OH) and candidate for the US House of Representatives in 2010 was indicted on seven counts of sexual imposition with a women he met at a Tea Party Rally. ^[18] Charges were dropped when the woman refused to continue action.The married father of three has one other sex charge pending. ^[19][20]
• Bishop Eddie Long being accused of having relations with males
• The big mess at Penn State.

Seriously Though

Hello Babies! After our mini vacation; which was well needed, back to our work grind. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and a safe Black Friday Weekend! As I stepped out Thursday night in my first, by myself, Black Friday crowd, I wonder was I really doing this? There were people EVERYWHERE! I just stood there and shock my head but I was out with them. I'm thankful that the crowd I was in wasn't crazy. My Friday shopping in Petersburg wasn't bad either. Say Thank You!

As we look forward to the 3:15 bell and get ready for a 3 day weekend, let's not forget why we have tomorrow out of school. November 11th, has been set aside to remember those who have served in Armed Force to help protect this country. Some Vets have lost their lives in the line of duty, so that we could still enjoy our freedom. Take time out of your busy schedule and have a moment of silence for all the fallen soldiers that have fought for us and tell the ones you know THANK YOU!

A repeat but a good one

Love....this is a powerful four letter word. Webster defines it as:

But what is love really? We tell people that we love them. We tell that special guy/girl that we are so in love with them and no one else can every change that. But are we truly in love? Love can be dangerous depending on how you use it. As I tweeted earlier, love is like a loaded shotgun; be careful how you handle it. You just may get shot. As a 30yr old woman I can say that I have been in love and I have had my share of what I thought was love. You live and learn, but we die and forget it all. Now I am curious to know as high school juniors and seniors, how do you define love? Me, personally, believe that this is the best definition of love: "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. 11When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. WASHINGTON GOVERNOR MOVES TO SESAME STREET

OLYMPIA, Wash. -- Tickle me, governor.

Washington Gov. Chris Gregoire says she'll greet trick-or-treaters at the governor's mansion this year as the popular Sesame Street character Elmo.
Her office said Wednesday that Gregoire's husband, Mike, will continue the Sesame Street theme by dressing up as Super Grover. Other people will be the Cookie Monster, Big Bird, Oscar the Grouch, Count Von Count, and Bert and Ernie.
The governor will also give out five chocolate bars that will contain "golden" tickets for a Dec. 2 holiday reception at the Executive Mansion.
In previous years, Gregoire and others have dressed up as characters from "Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory," "Charlotte's Web," "Happy Feet," "Dora the Explorer," "Toy Story" and "The Adams Family."
Campaign surplus money will pay for the festivity.

As we all know, one child's life has been ruining by something that wasn't to meant to be harmful. Everyone know about Amber Cole. Its sad that her world has been turned upside down by something that was a very bright idea. I found something on what has happened to her and wanted your opinion. Be Yourself

I know that everyone sometime see and find something that the like and wants to copy it. Sometimes it can be a good thing and sometimes it can be bad. I look at you all everyday and so many of you have your own uniqueness but wants to be like the people you see on TV. Pants sagging, clothes to big or too tight. Dressing like you just step out of the movie "Player's Club" etc. You are beautiful just the way you are. You were made perfect in HIS image. Its okay to like a look of someone else and copy them just a little but be who you were born to be. YOU! No one can be you but you. Have your own style and own swagger about yourself. My style is what makes me April Danyell Allen. I look like my mommy and my son looks like me, but I am ME. Nothing more and nothing less. No artificial additives. 100% me!"In a world where you can be anything, be yourself!" Love Ya!
