Welcome Back?
Good Day Sunshine! I hope all is well with you and yours. This is the beginning of our blogging. So today, leave your comments on the first 2 days of school and your thoughts on Hurricane Irene. I will start. I am truly happy and blessed to have the students that I have. You keep me going and make my day run smooth. Keep me full of smiles as well. Hurricane Irene left her mark on Halifax, Northampton and the East Coast. I am blessed that I had no damage and all my family is well. I did go without lights until Thursday but I couldn't complain because I still had a home. So no need to complain because I could not be here. Sending Love and keep working on your wings!

I enjoy being in this class, also the people in it. This is going to be a good year with you all.
ReplyDeleteHurricane Irene did do some damage. Yet, i'm glad/blessed that it wasn't worse. I'm also thankful that God kept me, my family, and friends are also. I hope we never have to experience anything else like that again.
I am happy and blessed to still be here. Alot of people have lost their homes and some have lost their lives. Eventhough I also went without intil Thursday Im still here. I love coming to this class in the morning, it opens my spirit open because I be not looking forward to school in the morning. All my other classes would be so drowsy and boring in the morning. But I love this class and Im looking forward to my senior year !
ReplyDeletehello. :) i am also beyond grateful that we all made it through the hurricane safely. it was terrible but however it could have been worst. i am glad to be back in school for the third day. lol hope everyone has a wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteoowwww.. :)
Hey. Im first to days of school were dah worst. I dont know why they were like that, but i never want to feel like that again. Maybe it was because it was not normally for me to wake up dhat early. Now bout Ms.Irene I hated her.Im Blessed and Thankful that i was kept save.
ReplyDeleteGood Day StarShine, the first two days can turn out two ways. They could either be really bad or really good, my first two days turned out to be really good. Hurricane Irene, though it did leave me without lights for 3 1/2 days, i am thankful that none of my loved ones got hurt (Including You All)

Omg Irene was crazy! Uprooting trees, messin up my tv signal, lifting trampolines and throwing them across fences. Thank God none of my family or friends were injured. I was blessed to be with power for the duration of the storm. I don't know how everybody went on without it. Now school... I didn't wana come back at first, but now that I'm here I'm glad to be here. Seniority is pretty AWESOME haha!
ReplyDeleteGood Afternoon, my first two days of school were great. I did have problems in my AP English class but i aint complainin. Hurricane Irene had me mad i couldnt play the PS3 n i had to take cold showers. I was glad my lights came back on I was about to die. But i am glad everybody ok and that im still living.
ReplyDeleteHi!! Well my first two days of school were cool. However, I did feel a little dumbfounded to find out the the school was now under the operation of a general. O well, but all of my classes were pretty interseting especially my online AP English class. Hurricane Irene was something else... she may have hurt my home but she didnt hurt me.Thank God
ReplyDeleteHello! The first two days of school were full of changes. With the new principal and all things were way different from what we are used to.But hopefully this school year goes smoothly and all the changes are for the best. Hurricane Irene came through North Carolina and did damage but thankfully we are still here.
ReplyDeleteMy first two days of school was ok.There were some classes that I signed up for that I didnt recieve and I ended up with a class that I didnt want but I didnt make a big deal about changing it.When I recieved my schedule I was tosee that I got this class because I know its going to be enjoyable. Thanks to god hurricane Irene didnt do any damge to my home or family.I also consider it a blessing that I only went about 24 hours without electricity.
ReplyDelete>_< OMGOSH!!!. Hurricane Irene was was knocking out lights from Saturday evening til Thursday the week after..It was really unbearable..But I'm happy to be back in school with all my Viking Family.. ^_^!!!
ReplyDeleteMy first two days of school were great!!! I enjoy all my classes besides Mr.Beebe. Hurricane Irene got on my nerves then, I went without lights forever. I was about to die without my phone! But i'm glad and grateful that i was kept safe and my family as well:)
ReplyDeleteGood Afternoon! My first two days of school were pretty boring. Well at least the classes, my teachers are ok. It was kind of difficult understanding how to navigate around blackboard for my online AP English 4 class, but other than that everything was easy.
ReplyDeleteHurricane Irene was worst than I thought it would be. I went a week and five hours without power, but I'm not going to complain because it could have been worst. My family, friends and I were alright so I thank God for that.
Welp,, I have to say my first day of school was disappointing. After my three years of being here I couldn't wait to get to school and sit in the SENIOR section with my friends to scream "SENOIRS BABII!!!" Then they lowered another BOOM with all these new rules. No need to complain because they are never going to change. As for Irene, I thought I would die with no lights for a day, but then I heard there were ppl with no lights for almost a week, smh. I couldn't do anything but thank GOD, because I am TRUELY BLESSED.!!
ReplyDeleteim so glad that everyone was ok from the storm. i loved it. it felt great to go outside in it. and it was fun to have a sllep over with the guys and girl. haha. no names needed. hate coming back to school, but last year of school... :) yay. :)
ReplyDeleteMy first two days of school was great! They went by so fast, but they were good days. Hurricane Irene wae really scary. It felt like my house was about to blow over, but it didnt; Thank God! My lights were off for only one day, but that one day felt alot longer. But all of my family and friends was ok and that's what's most important.
ReplyDeleteHELLO! My first two days of school were pretty decent I guess. I like this class alot. It keeps me awake and is pretty interesting. I think Hurricane Irene was pretty bad, but I am thankful that I am still here. For me, it was a time to bond with my family. We sunng in the dark, grilled during the hurricane, and laughed alot. I went without power for maybe two days, so i guess that wasn't as bad as others. The cold showers weren't the best, but at least I had some water to bathe. I was smart enough to use the car charger to keep my phone charged.! I saw a tree smash a roof through the house right across from my aunt's house. I am thankful to still be here and glad that Hurricane Irene has passed away!
ReplyDeleteMy first two days of school was ok. i like most of my classes except one of em. Hurricane Irene didn't really bother me or my family err body made it so therefor being wit out light for like ah week didn't really bother me. Its all gud.Holla back
ReplyDelete. My first two days of school was exciting. I seen alot of NEW faces. I met some new people and made a little bit of friends. I had to switch up my schedule a bit, because the administration gave me classes I didn't need, SMH. Hurricane Irene did a lot of damage to NC, but I'm thankful that me, my family & friends are still here. I'm thankful that my house isn't on the ground. I pray that families that lost their love ones get through it. I also pray that insurance pay for people's houses. . . I'm going to continue to be strong for my family and myself. . - SEN(12)IOR BBY :)
